I really enjoyed my Spanish lessons. We covered a lot of material and made good progress but Themis was very patient if ever I was struggling. I found this method very flexible as I could go away and still fit in my classes.
Christine Mitchell, Luxembourg
Themis is very good about setting a lesson plan to meet your personal level and learning style. She continuously adapts from one lesson to the next to make sure that you get the most out of the sessions. She also mixes various cultural explanations into the dialogue and is able to focus on topics that are interesting to you.

I always look forward to my Spanish lessons with Themis. I am a Portuguese speaker who has always struggled to make the transition from understanding Spanish to speaking it. Themis structures our classes around conversations that address different parts of speech; especially areas that I find challenging. In several months of working with her, I feel so much more comfortable conversing with my Spanish-speaking inlaws--and they are all impressed at how much I've learned since meeting her.

Just Right for Me!
My husband and I decided to take the class together. He previously took Spanish in high school and had an idea of what to expect. I had just been introduced to the Spanish language when I began this class. I feel the instructor was a great match for us. When she observed us struggling in a particular area, she incorporated more examples in the next lessons and assigned the dreaded homework to make sure we were comfortable before moving forward. She also did a good job working with our different styles. Vincent, my husband, did better during class grasping the concept of the lesson, while my memory is better and I was able to incorporate a larger vocabulary. Together we make a great team!
Instructor Themis Crisostomo, made class time fun and exciting. The different activities and exercises coupled with her warm and friendly personality, made it very easy to get engaged in the lessons. There really was never a dull moment.
Gracias maestra Themis!

I have studied Spanish via Skype with Themis for about five months. She is a very good teacher and is flexible with the times for your class. She has excellent English so can help you if you don’t understand. She will also cater your language based on your level and interests, especially legal as she is a lawyer in Lima.
- Jeff Shepard, Washington,D.C, USA
I was very happy to find Themis to help me continue learning Spanish. She offered me structure and plenty of Spanish practice! Themis understands the fundamentals of teaching and seriously wants you to learn. I found her incredibly flexible and understanding with all aspects of the lesson process.
